Japan Tobacco is searching for a Channel Strategy Development Manager.

 

Job responsibilities:

RRP&RMC strategy development in channels;
Develop Retail Performance Standards and principles of layout in equipment;
Plan and manage trade census and researches;
Develop and implement portfolio distribution targets calculation;
Participation in Annual Sales Planning process and additional reviews during a year;
Trade channels investment strategy development: calculate JTI coverage and investment strategy, prepare analytical information and presentations regarding trade environment;
WinClub targets calculation (Volume, POS, Volume coverage);
Trade segmentation development and implementation;
Data analysis of market dynamics and competitors’ positions in Trade;
Manage ad-hoc tasks and projects.

 

Major requirements:

University Degree, preferably math/marketing/economical specialization;
At least 3 years’ experience in FMCG multinational company (Trade Marketing/Key Accounts/Sales as a plus);
English: Upper-Intermediate (spoken, written);
Advanced PC user (knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point);
Strong planning and analytical skills; structed approach, strategic thinking, accountability, attention to details;
Pronounced drive results behavior;
Ability to work with the large amount of information;
Organized & responsible person with ability to learn quickly;
Excellent time management, coordination and communication skills, ability to work under time pressure;
As a plus: knowledge of tobacco industry, business understanding of trade and brand marketing, field force operations, processes and structure.
