LEGO Group is excited to announce the key strategic role of a Channel Director within the REMEEA (Russia, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) market group. This role will be integral to the success of the broader organization, by developing strategies and innovative solutions to navigate a sophisticated retail landscape.

 

Core Responsibilities

Drive and develop mutually profitable and beneficial business and trusted relationships with key LEGO Russia customers – including one of the largest retail partners of The LEGO Group- mainly on CEO/CCO level.
Lead annual commercial and other relevant negotiations in line with RUSSIA/CIS Commercial strategy.
Identify upcoming business issues and either mitigate them or turn into opportunities.
Ensure smooth flow of goods and permanent product availability bringing sustainable and uninterrupted profit to RUSSIA/CIS and TLG.
Contribute to RUSSIA/CIS strategy, Integrated Customer Plans and Customer Business Plans development and alignment with Global and Regional teams, Marketing, Operations and other relevant departments. Take ownership for execution of crafted plans.
Lead, develop and manage relations between LEGO Retail Team, Regional Team, LCS (LEGO® Certified Stores) Partner and local LEGO® Russia/CIS Team.
As the most senior Sales Leader in the Russia, partner with other Channel Leaders to provide thought leadership on the development and co-drive the execution of the Sales Strategy for Russia/CIS.

As the Chanel Director responsible for one of the largest retail partners of The LEGO Group, amongst others, in this position, you will be responsible for developing a key pillar of the overall agenda and championing comprehensive business strategies to deliver mutually beneficial impact, as well as developing team capabilities within the Sales Organisation. Therefore, we are placing a premium on thought leadership, direct and indirect people leadership, collaboration, and use of data to drive market incrementally for a key retail partner.

 

Do you have what it takes?
8-10 years related experience in consumer-packaged goods, retail, or related industry.
Bachelors degree, preferably in business, economics, engineering or related fields – or equivalent relevant work experience
MBA desirable
Equal depth of expertise in Customer Development /Key Account Management with major Russian customers.
Highly collaborative style, with the ability to navigate a complex and matrixed organization to deliver meaningful impact.
Track record of working with eCommerce platforms and Omni-channel partners.
Collaborative style with strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, communication skills, team orientation, and integrity.
Strong planning, organizational and execution skills, and be self-motivated.
Ability to thrive and create impact within a global organization, as well as managing international/global Customer relationships.
