Family Office is looking for a CFO.
About the role:
- Customer is the world’s largest group of companies which unites more than 40 brands, an investment fund, and a venture studio. The company has focused on video streaming, AI technologies, entertainment, and game mechanics; products are already used by more than 140 million users in 100 countries worldwide
- The team unites more than 700 professionals from all over the world. With offices in Malta (Sliema), Latvia (Riga), the USA (New York, San Francisco), China (Chongqing), Hong Kong, Colombia (Medellin), Queensland (Australia), Armenia (Yerevan), Kenya (Nairobi), and Georgia (Batumi)
- The target market for the products is the USA, Western Europe, Canada, UK, Asia, and Australia
- Currently the company is looking for CFO for Family Office and Captive investment fund. Assets under the management: real estate, investments into public markets (equities, fixed income, options, hedge funds, commodities, etc.), private equity investments, luxury assets and speciality and focus is global venture investments, to help technological companies to become leaders and create value
Your main tasks will be:
- Maximizing long-term return on investment
- Ensuring the safety of the assets under control
- Building a solid network of partners, including relations with banks, and other financial partners, financing, bank accounts maintenance and management
- Auditing, taxes
- Structuring of the business for business, tax and risk efficiencies
- Financial forecast, budgeting
- Financial flows, payments, payroll, etc.
Company expects from you:
- More than 7 years of corporate finance and accounting experience
- Experience in building and managing complex financial models, and designing/executing against large data sets to deliver internal business intelligence
- Experience in establishing robust financial controls and accounting processes
- Experience in managing teams
- Maximizing long term return on investment
- Ensuring safety of the assets under control
- CFA certified
- Ability to strategize and solve problems
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Work well under pressure
- Ability to move seamlessly from big picture thinking to more operational tactics
- Willing to “roll up the sleeves,” dive in and figure things out - without having to solely rely on a team for execution
- You are able to distill and communicate complicated topics broadly to leadership in a succinct manner
- Fluent English and Russian languages
- Team: Head of finance, accountant team, legal team
- Reporting: CEO, Chief Investment Officer
