Microsoft 365 is seeking a Category Sales Leader (Central Eastern Europe).
Responsibilities
In addition to People leadership this role has accountability for the full business cycle, from Planning, to Execution, to Performance Management and Monitoring
Category leadership: Understand the product value proposition in line with modern Consumer needs and distill go to market tactics that deliver clear value to our customers. Understand our Partners’ priorities, strengths and challenges and work together with them to deliver winning customer propositions across physical stores and online. Build excitement for the Microsoft 365 value with our People internally and with our Partners’.
Transformation leadership: Explore growth opportunities through the identification and integration of new sales channels, services, features and business models. Capitalize cross-category synergies, maximize investment efficiency and define proposals to optimize commercial value.
Profit & loss accountability: Understand the bottom line impact of programmatic and tactical investments and define strategies to meet business objectives. Lead the accountability of investment decisions within the team and with key stakeholders. Land revenue targets and investment allocation across the region, drive revenue forecast and accuracy working closely with Finance and Sales teams.
Performance management: Utilize business intelligence data, customer and partner insights to assess business performance. Drive Rhythm Of Business (ROB) framework and deliverables according to worldwide and regional cycles. Partner closely with Finance to ensure planning across revenue and investments is harmonized for budget and forecast cycles.
Influential storytelling: Distil a complex business story precisely, succinctly and truthfully to gain buy-in for informed and impactful business decisions.
Culture leadership: Lead a team of Category Managers and establish strong cross-functional relationships to drive step-change in the business. Lead by creating clarity, generating energy and empowering success. Embody our values of respect, integrity and accountability. Establish slate, assessment, and development plan cadence for talent needs and pipeline. Qualifications
Several years of experience in business development, product management, sales, finance or any other role utilizing a combination of strong commercial acumen, planning, analytical, influencing and people-first skills.
Experienced in navigating and performing within matrix organizations, developing thriving business in diverse cultures and channel ecosystems.
Forward looking, strategic thinker with a passion for learning, growth, leading with positivity and resilience.
Excellent and concise communicator with ability to leverage challenger sales model to describe situation and tension, and clear path to overcome and address opportunities.

Able to maintain a broader perspective, identifies and evaluates opportunities to enhance the business through cross-group collaboration. Incorporates diverse perspectives to thoroughly address complex business issues.
