Adidas is ready to recruit a Category Director for Reebok.

 

Purpose of the Role is to lead Reebok Footwear business and represent brand’s Footwear BU internally on the market and externally among rest of the markets. Contribute to the development of the global Go-to-Market plans for BU Reebok Footwear in order to ensure that Market Footwear range needs fully covered in accordance with brand strategy in the Market.

 

Key Responsibilities
Develop and drive Footwearl product strategy for the market.
Sharpen the Reebok Brand positioning through Fitness and Lifestyle Footwear perception on the market in accordance with Brand Strategy.
Lead and be responsible for Division efficiency and implementation of key KPIs: NS, SM%, SM Abs, across all distribution channels: CS, E-COM, FO, WHS.
Develop and implement product strategies that incorporate market trends via industry intel, market data, consumer insights in seasonal process.
Manage BU IBP process actively – work through, align and present local IBP (seasonal business plans) on local and global level.
Create, Align and Manage local GTM calendars based on global guidelines and local market needs in line with Brand strategy on the market in collaboration with CTC and Brand Communication.
Prepare and communicate seasonal product inputs with global BU team pointing out specific business risks and opportunities.
Prepare and align seasonal Fashion Collaboration partners listing, input product creation process, align activation plans.
Oversee and contribute to the MWB planning process in order to ensure required demand for Reebok Footwear.
Implement global and local best practices to ensure GTM and business process efficiency.
Manage Reebok Footwear BU team upon 3C/ Brand Leadership operational model.
Ensure high employee engagement and performance at every level through effective communication, coaching and training, motivation and development of team members

 

Requirements
Industry experience required.
5+ years of cross functional experience in merchandising/product, marketing, sales/retail required.
Bachelor in related field required.
Strong leadership & management skills.
Strong communication skills with his/her direct reports, but more importantly, with all the counterparts he/she will have to influence and work with.
Strong cross functional experience, across merchandising, marketing, sales and retail, Finance.
Strong industry knowledge, across divisions—footwear, apparel and accessories.
Expert understanding of local Market´s’ consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs.
