International company in the medical technology industry looking for a Business Development Director Russia based in Moscow or St. Petersburg.
Your Key Responsibilities:
· Create detailed (regional/local) market-, channel-, pricing-, competition-transparency with the goal to derive growth drivers
· Analyse in detail the current go-to-market strategy; propose and plan optimizations; increase distribution-network
· Submit territory budget (sales, expenses, product roadmap) to Management
· Setup relevant KPI and create monthly reporting – based on regular, detailed discussion and business analysis with distribution partners
· Anticipate market changes and propose solutions
· Support end-users in order to optimize their processes, procedures and business – with focus on premium IOL business
· Maintain and optimize existing (and setup new) relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within territory
· In collaboration with Marketing department, make sure that product management’s activities are rightly targeted and implemented
Your profile:
· Degree in business administration / marketing / commerce / ophthalmology or other relevant qualifications
· Minimum 5+ years experience in sales / business development / marketing role in ophthalmology / medical product industry
· Proven success in sales/developing markets and/or customers
· Strategic vision of the market
· Fluent English, Russian as native tongue
· Strong Negotiator
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong knowledge and experience in medical field
· P&L Experience
· Result oriented executive, Excellent Networker, Strategic Thinker
· Excellent Excel, PowerPoint skills.
