Brown-Forman Corporation is searching for a Brand Manager (Super Premium American Whiskey).
What You Will Do in This Role:
Super-Premium American Whiskey development and identification/realization of major-related opportunities. This includes super-premium brands such as Gentleman Jack, Single Barrel, Jack Daniel’s Rye, Woodford Reserve as well as any future developments under this trademark.
What You Can Expect:
- Actively participate and contribute to the development of a long-term strategy for SPAW in the local market by providing necessary tools, data analysis, or other help needed by MM.
- Contribution to regional and global brand/corporate initiatives by being part of working groups and meetings. Lead additional assigned projects or tasks as stretch assignments towards further personal development.
- Participate in brand price strategy development. Ensure healthy P&L performance by providing input from the marketing side.
- Set up and contribute to S&I sessions.
- Co-Lead preparation of yearly brand plans in alignment with MM.
- Develop and implement tactical plans and activities from the brand plan.
- Actively collaborate with Sales and TM teams in the development and execution of required retail and on-trade POP standards.
- Report the status and results (KPI tracking) of tactical plans and executions to the MM.
- Based on strategic objectives from the brand plan, develop, execute & measure (responsible) activation & communication plans for specific areas e.g. Digital, PR & On-Trade. Actively collaborate with IMCM in the area of communication.
- Manage A&P budget and keep track of the marketing spending for the led activities.
- Coordination of relevant business actions with other functions of the organization and regional/global marketing.
- Management and pitching of agencies pool. Negotiate with supplies on operational aspects. Leverage own experience and market knowledge to ensure the best price and quality of provided goods and services.
- Ensure document flow accuracy and compliance for respective projects.
- Different projects related to area of responsibility, upon agreement with the manager.
- Monitor and report on monthly basics of key competitive activities in the whiskey category. Perform regular market visits (on-and off-trade) to gain knowledge and observations about the market and consumers.
- Ensure Responsibility Messaging (R&R) on all FV products, communication materials, and during key brand communication platforms.
- S&I, Strategy and Brand plans.
- Developing and executing tactical activities for digital, PR, Off- & On-Trade.
- Budget monitoring and administrative work.
- Gathering and analyzing market data.
What You Bring to the Table:
- College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Business/Marketing preferable.
- Min. 6 years experience in sales/brand/trade marketing, customer management.
- People management, and spirits and beverages industry background will be an advantage.
- Managing work of the self and the teams (including time-management).
- Demonstrated ability to manage, prioritize, and complete team workload in a high pressure/ fast paces environment within established deadlines.
- Ability to handle big volumes of information and attentiveness to details.
- Operational Decision Making.
- Demonstrated ability to apply basic analytical/mathematical skills.
- Fluent business English, Russian.
- Good knowledge in MS Office.
