Bacardi is searching for a Brand Manager (Premium white spirits).
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:
Consumer, shopper, and customer understanding
Builds deep understanding of the local target consumer and shopper groups for PWS Brands in all key Countries within EURA region to inform planning and optimize the deployment of brand assets
Partners with Region Insights team to design & run simulated tests or market pilots for new consumer programs to maximize their effectiveness and efficiency
Category & brand strategy and activity planning
Supports development of brand “Core Consumer Growth Challenge” and “Consumer Jobs to be Done” in the Region and participate in activity ideation & development in the annual Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) process
Recommend the markets allocation of assigned A&P across brand activities in the IAP
Manages consumer facing elements of the IAP as assigned to them by the Region Category Director and works closely with Region Customer Marketing to support development of shopper-facing activities
Works closely with Country Brand Managers to manage extension of Region IAP into Country activation plans or manages directly where there is no Country brand management resource
Integrated brand communication
Contributes to the design & execution of brand assets and consumer programs in the Region as directed by the Category Director and under supervision of the Global Category VP/Director
Works with Country Brand Managers (as appropriate) to ensure brand assets are appropriately tailored for local activation or works directly with local market where there is no Country brand management resource
Works with Country Brand Managers (as appropriate) to ensure that all brand content programs and partnerships are activated and commercialized effectively in market
Provides brand input and partners closely with Region Customer Marketing on execution of selected shopper-facing activities developed in the Region
Supports the development of brand assets in the Region that are adherent to Global Brand guidelines and local social responsibility policies and regulations and always follow the Bacardi Marketing Way best practice
Business performance management
Measures and evaluates (M&E) all assigned brand activities plans in place and helps to identify & codify rollout of successful brand growth drivers globally
Delivers performance targets on brand activities, as set out in the annual M&E plan
Manages brand A&P budget in order to minimize costs and optimize returns on investment
Creating a winning team
Supports effective matrix working as a single Category team – from Global to Region to Country
Fosters close collaboration with Region Customer Marketing throughout brand planning and activation
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:
Brand management experience, including expertise in multiple specialty areas: strategy, digital, innovation, promotion, events
Industry experience is preferred but not essential
In-depth understanding of the brand, its position in the markets and its key consumer profiles, to take ownership of brand voice, vision and Consumer Jobs to be Done
Drive execution with a clear result-oriented behavior, while developing and inspiring the market teams
Financial savvy to manage P&Ls and efficiently control A&P expenses
Strong verbal / written storytelling skills and ability to generate meaningful presentations
Fluent English is required
