The Walt Disney Company is looking for a Brand and Franchise Marketing Manager.
Responsible for TWDC’s Brand and Franchise’s (such as Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Princesses, …) Marketing campaigns which are XLOB, integrated and synergy campaigns.
The Opportunity & Responsibilities:
- Works closely with EMEA regional Brand & Franchise Marketing team to create local marketing campaigns for TWDC brands and franchises
- Organizes and participates meetings with the EMEA Brand and Franchise Marketing team where necessary
- Organizes meetings with related local LOBs and departments for Brand and Franchise Marketing updates and campaigns. (Media, DTC, CPGP, Studio – Marketing, PR, Digital & Creative teams)
- Follows up yearly Brand and Franchise budgets and makes necessary adjustments
- Follows up short and long-term strategy of the brands with regional teams and makes sure the brand strategies are reflected to all campaigns correctly
- Follows both internal and external approval procedures and makes sure the campaign goes in the pre-determined manner
- Knows the brands, positioning of the brands and content well to come up with new campaign or partnership ideas
- Works with partnerships teams to find possible partners to increase effectiveness of the campaigns
- Creates 360º partnership/sponsorship projects (combining TV, digital, event, outdoor, off-air, …) for TWDC brands
- Responsible for execution of the campaigns or 360º partnership projects
- Responsible for analysing and reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns and KPI & ROI
- Responsible for Brand and Franchise Marketing budget
The Experience&Skills Company Requires From You:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Degree in advertising or a related field such as communication or marketing preferred)
- Minimum 6-8 years of proven working experience in a marketing or creative department
- Significant brand management experience
- Excellent coordination, organization and time management skills under strict deadlines and patient and calm under stress
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of marketing and consumer promotion
- Highly organized, has the ability to multi-task, and prioritize tasks in multiple projects in various stages of development
- Creative, project-oriented, strategic, highly motivated, energetic, convincing, and self-confident
- Interest in content (series, movies, documentaries, …) is a plus
- Good knowledge of TWDC brands and franchises is a plus
- Good team player with a positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative environment both internal and external
- Experience to work in a cross-cultural environment will be an asset
- Excellent decision-maker, self-starter and takes initiatives
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills (w/Turkish or foreign clients or colleagues)
- High PC proficiency, especially in MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Excel
