Job Responsibilities:
Categorize and classify library materials or other documents.
Follow library standards and guidelines when classifying documents.
Perform original and copy cataloging and adapt online records according to guidelines in all subject areas and languages.
Input details about new material into the library catalog.
Maintain electronic library catalog by editing, adding and deleting MARC bibliographic records.
Perform related work as required.
Position requirements:
One (1) year experience working with an integrated library system (ILS), preferably Voyager ILS.
Proficient in one of the following foreign languages: Russian
One (1) year+ experience working in a library
Associates Degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
Demonstrated knowledge of MARC record format
Experience working in legal materials
Experience working with serials records.
