Provider of financial intelligence and analytical tools Moody's Analytics is searching for Associate Director Relationship Manager.
Role/Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for partnering closely with Relationship Managers to renew and grow an existing account base, as well as helping drive the sales process by identifying and targeting prospects, initiating new sales activity and managing sales cycles to closure across the range of MA’s products and services. The position will focus on customers within the Banking and NBFI segment across the Europe and Africa region. In addition to partnering with assigned Relationship Managers, the Associate Relationship Manager will also collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Subject Matter Experts and Product Specialists to support existing clients effectively and advance new sales cycles. Responsibilities:
- Partner with Relationship Managers to help drive the sales cycle which includes identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging off existing client relationships, sales presentations and contract negotiations across MA’s products and services
- Support senior relationship managers in servicing client accounts, identifying opportunities to cross sell other products based on identified client needs
- Collaborate with Product Management and Product Strategy to promote improvement in product quality and the development of new sources of revenue
- Assess needs of the client by gaining an understanding of the specific issues facing the client based on their business requirements
- Renew and grow renewable business lines including Orbis, Predictive Analytics, Structure Finance and CreditView
- Ensure that new users and existing clients have a good understanding of products, using feedback obtained to secure renewals
- Meet established performance measurement targets, while creating new and enhanced customer relationships ensuring satisfaction.
- Work closely with Sales Domain Specialists, Product Strategy, Marketing and other employees within the organization to leverage their appropriate expertise to achieve sales growth
- Coordinate Business Development campaigns to generate new sale opportunities in collaboration with the Sales Development team
- Assist in the preparation and circulation of market insight comments to create awareness of Moody’s expertise internally and externally
- Position requires travel
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree
- A Moody’s employee at this level would typically have 7-10 years' experience in client services, sales support or market research
- Preferably experienced selling into Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions
- Ability to sell on a needs/solutions approach
- Ability to influence key decision makers during the full life cycle of the sales process
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to multi task and meet short deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail
- Fluent in English and ideally also fluent in either French, Spanish, Italian, German or Russian
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions
