Yandex is a tech company that builds intelligent products and services powered by machine learning. Our goal is to help consumers and businesses better navigate the online and offline world. We are looking for an Art Director to join our international team.
Tasks that await you:
Creative direction:
- You will lead the creative direction of our products and services (Search, Browser, and other products) ensuring that all designs align with the company’s brand and project objectives. This will include collaboration on reworking various product modules, as well as taking a hands-on approach to design and iterating on your ideas
Collaboration:
- You will act as part of cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to synchronize storytelling between products and campaigns
Mentorship and development:
- You will be playing a key role in nurturing the talents of junior colleagues, helping them grow and thrive for future senior roles across various products
Requirements:
- Have 5+ years of experience in art direction or graphic design
- Have a strong portfolio showcasing your experience across different domains and the depth of that experience (versatility in this context would be highly valued)
- Are willing to be a hands-on Art Director
- Possess a sharp eye for design, with insight into the communication strategies of Russian and international brands
- Communicate ideas clearly and persuasively and exceed in visually engaging storytelling techniques
It'd be a plus if you:
- Have a good understanding of modern ML, AI, and LLM architectures
- Possess strong foundational knowledge of programming and modern IT technology stacks
- Are skilled in both oral and written communication with a talent for storytelling
