ACI Worldwide looking for Director (Sales — Fraud, Cloud and Partner Sales) 

 

Job Purpose

The Director, Fraud, Cloud and Partner Sales has direct accountability for the development of strategies, objectives, and plans to grow ACI’s sales and revenue within Payment Risk Manager (PRM). The Director is expected to build a regional, results-oriented sales organization that is best in class as measured by pipeline, sales & revenue growth, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. This position also champions an “Everyone Sells ACI” mindset for the company, so motivating across the organization is critical to success.

ACI Worldwide Financial Crime detection and prevention products are used throughout the world:

More than 350 direct customers, 5000 indirect customers within 45 countries.

Wide variety of products and services aimed at segments of the payments market.
Microsoft Azure’s public cloud provides the perfect bedrock from which to offer today’s desire for more efficient deployments of real time, complex solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

As the Director and Sales Leader, a key responsibility is designing & managing an efficient end-to-end sales process for cloud-based solutions. This includes managing go-to-market execution, tools, workflow, and roles + responsibilities. It also includes participation in key operating mechanisms including ACI’s Forecasting Cadence and Annual Strategic + Operating Plan Meetings.

This position also play a key role in representing ACI at key Industry Events and other Thought Leadership forums. This includes building & nurturing relationships with key partners like Microsoft and customers in the payments eco-system by which ACI participates.

 

A Summary Of Each Partnership Is Described Below

Internal partnerships with Marketing, P&L Leadership and Product Development are critical to success. It is expected that the position is managing + reporting on a scorecard of metrics shared between the organizations. Of equal importance is highly integrated planning and forecasting processes.
Marketing: Alignment on development of Sales Effectiveness tools (i.e. Value Props, Training, etc.), Pipeline Sales & Revenue Planning and execution against campaigns.
P&L Management: Synchronization on Commercial (Pipeline Sales, Revenue & Cash) Planning and Forecasting in line with profitability objectives, Execution of the Go-To-Market Plan, and Escalation Management.
Product Development: Providing a market perspective to influence product roadmap and strategic direction.
Finally, this senior leadership role includes responsibility for recruiting, developing, motivating, retaining and rewarding a high-performance team that is measured by a set of pre-determined goals. The team will have the opportunity to scale to meet the significant growth produced both organically and inorganically .

 

Job Accountability
Provides strategic and operational direction for the sales to maximize Sales & Channel Development.
Motivates, measures performance, monitors activities for assigned sales teams and ensures they have all of the tools to successfully sell products and service customers
Attain customer satisfaction metrics, customer engagement objectives and develop management and staff to execute at BIC level
Maintain a view of key sales situations and activities; provides input and assists with decisions related to potential prospects
Coordinates product issues, from a sales perspective, with the P&L and Technology teams and works with various internal departments ensuring customer feedback and their needs are shared and provided as future opportunities.
Manage transformation, acquisition integration and other strategic programs across the business unit.
Execute on key employee and business initiatives as required to support strategic and operating plans.
Understand, adhere to and enforce all corporate policies including, but not limited to, ACI’s Code of Ethics and Global Information Security policies.

 

Knowledge/Experience
Knowledge of Fraud and business data and how to interrogate this data effectively.
BS/BA or equivalent experience 4 years of successful direct OR Channel partner Cloud Solutions sales experience in industries targeted by ACI
Sales Process Management.
Good business knowledge of financial crime detection systems, processes and platforms is desirable.
Solid understanding of most types of payments fraud, AML, CTF, KYC and internal fraud practices.
Experience of delivering presentations and demonstrating solutions to large and small audiences effectively.
Experienced public speaker in chosen profession.
Some knowledge of the analytical techniques applicable to the production of financial crime prevention strategies.
Master’s degree, preferably MBA, or equivalent
Ten years of relevant business management experience in financial technology.
