A global venture capital firm Runa Capital is looking for a Financial Manager.
Description:
On a daily basis, you will be heavily involved in Runa funds and their General Partners finance management, including cash management, internal, external financial reporting and some tax issues (reporting under US FATCA and CRS). You will be in charge of several financial, accounting and investment reports and will coordinate the flow of financial information between various Runa Capital entities and their financial managers / accountants (the accounting function is outsourced).
You will be handling financial and administrative issues for the funds and its portfolio companies, including:
Reconciliation of bank account statements;
Calculation and collection of interest on loans;
Expense management (set up monthly payments, get reimbursements from the funds, portfolio companies);
Financial review of new deals;
Complete and maintain documents concerning investments in Runa portfolio companies; organize, mail, file legal documents and input information into the spreadsheet;
Communication with funds’ auditors (PwC) and tax consultants;
Qualifications:
Accounting or Finance degree
At least 3 years working experience in an international finance company
Ability to understand complex finance, accounting, taxation issues
Understanding of off-shore holding structures and intercompany finance settlements
Fluent oral and professional written English
Be flexible with work hours to support international work with US, Europe and Bermuda
Excellent communication skills, high learning ability, sense of urgency and effective organizational skills, ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks, great attention to details.
