For a global brand in the real estate industry we are currently seeking to hire a General Manager for its Russian operation. The company has been engaged with the Russian and CIS market through various links in the past and is now considering to become much more active, by building local business relations in particular during a time, when there are plenty of opportunities and challenges in the industry.
Responsibilities
Define the areas for further growth both for non existing products/services and geographies
Review existing business areas with a post pandemic approach
High level relationship management and business development and sales with key clients
Hiring of and maintaining of key talent
Working with global head quarter inorder to ensure the CIS market is well represented and global client relationships can be nurtured locally
Making sure that current marketing and digital tools are reaching clients effectively with a strong plan to grow the E-commerce channel
Eventually managing a complex organisation with several hundred staff members.
Qualifications
10+ years’ experience in business related field in particular in managing high performing sales teams (brokerage, service industries)
Real estate brokerage experience would be highly appreciated are however not a must if applicants can demonstrate success of double digit growth in other applicable industries
Strong leadership, decision making and communication skills
P&L responsibility for at least 5 years
Being able to manage by example including client development
Fluent English and Russian language
